The Web-based Administration Control Panel (ACP) is used to initially configure the design, layout, categories and sections. Later, use the ACP to populate and manage site content. Manage Content The built-in visual content editor allows non-technical contributors to easily create and update site content. Advanced features enable administrators to define custom fields and approval controls to ensure that site content is relevant and accurate. Control Structure A site's structure consists of the menus, layout, content and how they all work together. PortalApp includes a Web-based management tool that allows administrators to add categories or sections that automatically generate the site navigation. Customize Design PortalApp was built with the designer in mind. PortalApp gives template authors control over look and feel and allows this to be enforced through the use of industry standard CSS stylesheets. This allows a separation of design from content, structure and function. Enable Functionality PortalApp comes complete with over 30 modules that address more than 90% of common Website requirements including community and e-commerce functions. These features provide functionality that developers can modify using the included source code.
